Magnificent mountains always make sure to give us something special that no one understands, the power of the mountains that exceeds our human expectations and desires. And, such a place exists in Albania too, Lepusha.
Lepusha is a hidden village deep in the accursed mountains and has outstanding views. Lepusha is surrounded by many stunning mountains that are over 2000 meters high, the village itself has an altitude of 1300m. With the 29th and 30th Kosovo Mountain Club organized a wonderful adventure in Lepusha and the peak called Vajusha which has the most spectacular views in the accursed mountains.
During our way we saw some amazing places like this one that resembles the winding roads of Norway. This road is on the way to Selce and are called “Leqet e Hotit” and you can visit this road either by driving from Shkodra or Plav.
From the village you can see a panoramic view that will let you out of breath. These peaks are called Karanfila and these mountains stand in Montenegro and are part of the Accursed Mountains also I have written about Vajusha summit and Karanfilat in my previous article. The next day we went to a marvelous waterfall which is called Waterfall of Selce. This time of the year the waterfall had plenty of water due to the heavy snowfalls during winter.
